Both routes end in the same place: a routine matched to what you actually have, in the order to use it. Neither needs an account, and neither costs anything.
Answer some questions
More accurateTen or so questions about your hair or your skin, and the things a photograph cannot show: how it behaves, what has gone wrong before, what you are willing to keep up with. This is the better answer.
About three minutes. No photo, no email.
Upload a photo
FasterTake a photo in daylight and it reads what is visible: curl pattern and condition, or skin tone depth and surface marks. It fills in what it can see and then asks you the rest, so you answer fewer questions.
About twenty seconds. Your photo is checked in your browser and is not stored. Skin photos can be bare-faced or wearing makeup.
One photo can cover both, and you get a routine for each. It is a compromise shot though: hair worn down shadows the face, so each half reads a little less confidently than a photo taken for it alone.
There is no photo route for body concerns. Those depend on things a picture cannot show, so the body questions are the only sensible way in.
